Drake and Nicki Minaj Talk Marriage

Drake and Nicki Minaj sort of confirmed that they were married over their respective Twitter accounts, leaving all of us very confused. The Canadian singer/rapper tweeted “Please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and dont stare at her too long. She’s finally mine.” In which his female counterpart said “Yes, its true. Drake and I tied the knot. RT @drakkardnoir @nickiminaj Baby I am never scared. PROUD is more the word I would use.” This is so confusing. Were they even a couple before all of this marriage talk? If so, I am so behind all the gossip.

TI Caught with Ecstasy

Sources are reporting that TI and his wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle were arrested on Wednesday night not only because cops smelled marijuana but because they also found ecstasy in the car. Ecstasy is included in the class of controlled substances that cops determined to be what they found in the rapper and former singer’s car. The police are calling it a small amount but they are testing the pills to learn more. If it does turn out to be ecstasy and determined to be a huge dose, and if those styrofoam cups they found did have Sizzurp, TI could be going back to jail with his wife.

Rapper T.I. arrested for drug possession

Rapper T.I. is released from jail after he got arrested in Los Angeles for drug possession, police said on Thursday.
T.I. real name is Clifford Harris Jr. got arrested along with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle on Sunset Boulevard Wednesday night after police smelled marijuana coming from a car, T.I. wasn’t driving a car he was a passenger, Deputy Luis Castro of The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
T.I. was booked for possession of a controlled substance and was released from jail after posting bail of $10,000,

Rihanna Album Release Date

I’ve been asking when I’m going to get to hear some new music from Rihanna in hopes that she can get back into my good graces after the horrific experience that was ‘Rated R’, and I now have my answer. The R&B singer’s still untitled fifth album has been given a November 2nd, 2010 release date. I can’t wait to hear what she’s got in store for us. I just hope that it will be a vast improvement from the last album. If she has any songs that are more along the lines of Eminem’s ‘Love the Way You Lie’ or her collaboration ‘Run This Town’ with Jay-Z and Kanye West, I’ll forgive the whole ‘Rated R’ deal.

Lady Gaga has revealed that despite the fact that she and Paris Hilton both attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart, the singer and the heiress couldn’t be any more different. The princess of pop said “’It’s true [that we went to school together], but I don’t see [Paris] as an artist. People assume that all the girls who went to my school were like Nicky and Paris, and the truth is that I went to a very, very religious school and some girls were very artistic and some did drugs and didn’t give a fuck. Rihanna’s song with Eminem, ‘Love the Way You Lie’, has held steady at the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and has reached over 150 million listener impressions. I would like to say congratulations to the Barbadian R&B singer and the rapper for accomplishing that feat! However, I have to say that I feel sorry for Rihanna too. It seems that the only way she could get herself on the top spot is with the help of someone else. When is she going to give us some great new music on her own? She can’t do collaborations all the time.

Kanye West keeps his promise and released a new song with Justin Bieber. The artist has teamed up with Raekwon on a new remix from the young artist. The two began discussing about a possible collaboration on Twitter last week. “Maybe we could do something together. Me, you and Raekwon,” said West to Bieber. Justin was surprised and replied, “Me, you and the chef together for a song = EPIC. Haha. It may sound crazy to you but even this conversation is a dream come true for me”. So Kanye has remixed the song “Runaway Love” with Raekwon and stated that the Wu-Tang member’s famous verse is great.

Although still in lockdown, Lil Wayne remain in the attention of his fans. The rapper returns with a new video for the song “Ground Zero” from the album “Rebirth”. And what could the video contain if not if not images from Weezy’s concerts, who is still expecting something less than a month to be free again after he was imprisoned for possessing firearms. Lil Wayne is also preparing the release of a new album in just the day when he will be released, on November 5, 2010. The rapper is working on the “The Carter IV” even from prison by telephone. The rapper prepares another surprise for fans. On September 27, his birthday, Lil Wayne will release his first single from the album, “I’m Not a Human Being.”

U2 Fined for Noise

U2 was fined by the city of Barcelona last week for playing too long and too loudly during their concert rehearsals last year. Apparently, the band went two hours over schedule with their playing and offended the delicate nature of the citizens living nearby. Isn’t it a bit late to fine them over something that happened a year ago? Where was the complaint when the noise was going on? Anyway, U2 paid $22,000 and promised never to disrupt Barcelona again. I find it ironic that the concert took place at a soccer stadium which happens to be the farthest thing to a place known for peace.

Even while in jail, Lil Wayne has managed to push fellow rapper Eminem aside to take the top spot on the Digital Songs chart this week. Lil Wayne’s song ‘Right Above It’, featuring rapper/singer Drake, was his first number one on this chart as it hit 225,000 downloads. Considering the fact that Lil Wayne is currently in jail, you have to be impressed. If he can achieve that while he’s still in prison, you have to wonder what he can do once he gets out. Congratulations to Lil Wayne! Now you just have to follow that with some great music when you do get out.
