The music video for the song ‘Video Phone’ starring Beyonce and Lady Gaga is out and it is hot! The princess of pop recently spoke to MTV about working with Beyonce, saying “She is such a beautiful person. I had kind of lost faith a little bit in meeting artists in the business – and then I met Beyonce.” If you got what the singer was saying, she pretty much gave some mad props to her fellow artist. I wonder how Beyonce feels about that and what she has to say about Lady Gaga. Then again, I highly doubt there’s anyone who can say a bad thing about her.

Flash mobs usually pay homage to musicians who are no longer with us, or at least the ones who aren’t right there. However, the Janet Jackson flash mob that went down last weekend had a very special guest – the singer herself. It wasn’t all a coincidence though. It was actually all to promote her greatest hits album which comes out on Tuesday. It was still pretty cool though. The mob busted out some of her most famous choreography and were also dressed in some of her most recognizable clothes. I bet she was entertained by all of that. I want my own flash mob!
Rihanna Talks New Album

Rihanna recently went around Europe on a promotional tour for her forthcoming album called ‘Rated R’. The 21-year old singer recently spoke to the Associated Press about her album, saying that it is a real reflection of who she is. The Barbadian babe said “I feel like my fans, they knew me, they knew what I looked like, but they didn’t really know what my personality was. But I wanted to give them more of who I really was because I feel like that was a connection I was missing.” ‘Rated R’ will be hitting stores this coming Monday, November 23.

In the December issue of InStyle magazine, Taylor Swift discusses her love of the single life and her fondness of ‘Twilight’ star Taylor Lautner. The country singer said “He and I have gotten really close. It would be confusing on the set with two Taylors in the same scene. They were like, ‘Taylor, on your mark – no, not you, the other one!’ So halfway through the shoot, I said, ‘How about you guys call me Swifty and call him Taylor?’” The actor seems to be fond of her too as he said “Taylor is hilarious. It was definitely not hard to play her love interest.”

Lady Gaga played a pink piano at the MOCA New 30th Anniversary Gala at LA’s Museum of Contemporary Art this past weekend. The 23-year old singer performed her new song ‘Speechless’ alongside Italian artist Francesco Vezzoli while members of Russia’s Bolshoi ballet troupe danced to the music. The pop princess talked about the performance to the Wall Street Journal saying “For me, art is a lie, and the artists are there to create lies we kill when we make it true. Francesco and I were like warriors on stage, trying to make a true moment. Art is life, life is art. The question is, what came first?”
Snoop Dog opens trading on Wall Street

Hip-hop artist Snoop Dog opened trading at the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street.
Snoop helped out a global drive to lure young people into the business world.
The initiative is an annually run event titled the annual Mentoring Madness event in which he teamed with business leaders to give a speech on entrepreneurship. Snoop has taken a leaf out of his own book, moving into a business role as the new creative chairman of EMI’s Priority Records.
He was lined up to executive produce Priority releases to celebrate the label’s 25th anniversary in 2010.
Snoop rang the bell on Wall Street at the early commencement of trading.
Dr Conrad Murray set for lawsuit with AEG, according to reports

Dr Conrad Murray is set to launch a lawsuit against AEG for the medical services he provided for Michael Jackson, according to reports.
Miranda Sevcik, a publicist for Dr Murray’s lawyer claims that the music and entertainment group owes Murray US$300,000.
She says that AEG has been “dragging its feet”, even though Murray has requested that he get paid for two months of work for the late singer.
Sevcik claims that Murray gave up his medical practice to sign a binding deal with AEG - who have yet to pay up.
Sevcik told TMZ that Murray is not going to file a creditor’s claim against Jackson’s estate.
“Dr Murray needs the money and he’s entitled to the money based on the contract he signed with AEG,” she said.
AEG could not immediately be reached for comment.

Britney Spears went crazy on Twitter this past weekend as she kept hyping us about this amazing new iPhone application of hers. The app has several features, including a ‘Be Britney’s Dancer’ feature which places your face over one of the pop star’s dancers and something called ‘The Sparkler’ that you’re supposed to activate when you go to one of the singer’s concerts. It sparkles. The best part about it is it also yells out “It’s Britney, bitch!” when you shake your phone! That’s a riot! It also gives you updates on what’s going on with the life of Britney.
Vivica A. Fox and 50 Cent Together Again

Despite going through a nasty breakup, Vivica A. Fox and 50 Cent have finally made amends. The actress recently visited the set of the rapper’s video for his new single on Governors Island but there is no word on whether the reconciliation was romantic or if they were both just looking for a bit of closure. Vivica once said that their relationship was “ghetto love”. I’m not sure what it means but I think it’s not something promising. A source said of her visit, “They were very cordial and friendly. I guess the animosity has faded.” That’s good for them. Take the high road.

Comedy duo Ant and Dec have said they ‘never anticipated’ that Susan Boyle would become such a big success.
The pair were presenting UK show Britain’s Got Talent when Susan, 48, auditioned and became an instant hit after a video was posted on YouTube.
Susan eventually came second in the show but has gone on to have huge success and her debut album will be released in late November.
Talking about Susan’s success, Ant, 33, said: “I have to say, even watching her performance then, the audience were great, the judges were kind of surprised. We thought: ‘That’s a nice story.’
“I never anticipated it being as big as it would be. Never in a million years. She was really nice and a bit nervous and we didn’t expect anything much of her. Then she brought the house down.”
Ant’s comedy partner Dec, 34, added: “We talk about people being overnight sensations but she literally was. She was the first global overnight superstar.
“To go from being that little lady in a small village in Scotland to being known all over the world and having famous Hollywood stars Twittering about you must have made her head spin.”
Michael Jackson’s doctor in court to settle child support row

Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray has appeared in court to settle a row over child support payments.
The doctor, who has been laying low since Jackson’s shock death in June, turned up for the hearing in Las Vegas to resolve a debt of more than $13,000.
Murray hardly spoke during the hearing on Monday but was let off the hook as Nenita Malibiran agreed to wave the outstanding debt for their 10-year-old son.
Malibiran, who was not in court, reached the agreement on condition Murray pays her $1,003 a month in support from now on.
Murray, who also paid $700 at the hearing, was warned the court will check he is keeping up with his payments every three months.
He must appear in court again on January 4.
DJ AM’s Shoes Go to Charity

Before his tragic death, DJ AM had a huge affinity for sneakers. Over the years, the entertainer had amassed an incredibly extensive collection. Now, his love for shoes will serve to benefit a good cause. On Sunday, over 800 pairs of the late DJ’s sneakers will be going up for auction on eBay. Pairs include vintage Nike, Reebok, Converse, Adidas, BAPE and hundreds edition and virtually unworn sneakers. The proceeds from the auction will go to the DJ AM Memorial Fund which helps others who are struggling with addiction. The auction begins on Sunday and will continue through December 14th.

Katherine Jackson drops contest of son’s executors

A Los Angeles court heard the surprise announcement of Katherine Jackson that she was dropping a challenge of the executors appointed to her son’s estate.
Katherine’s attorney, Adam Streisand, said she feels it is time the fighting over Michael’s estate came to an end. Michael’s will has two of his longtime associates, attorney John Branca and music exec John McClain, named as its executors.
Katherine earlier was indicating she would challenge the executors over alleged conflict of interest. But her change of course came as a move by her husband, Joe, to challenge the executors was revealed ahead of a Tuesday probate hearing.
Streisand also said Katherine, who is permanent guardian to Michael’s three children, feels her actions will be in their best interest.
Joe, meanwhile, was seeking an allowance from the will that did not name him. At 80, he suffers from diabetes and had a stroke in 1998. He lives in Las Vegas, while his wife of 50 years, Katherine lives in the family home in Encino, in the San Fernando Valley north of LA.
Joe, a former steelworker who drove his children’s musical business, listed his expenses as $1200 a month for rent, $2500 to eat out, $1000 for entertainment, gifts and vacations, $2000 on air travel and $3000 on hotels.

Rihanna’s concert tour rider has been revealed, all thanks to The Smoking Gun. The 21-year old Barbadian singer requests for a lot to be in her dressing room but at least they’re not over the top. Among the things listed on her rider as 24 buffalo wings with hot sauce on the side, 1 whole roasted chicken spiced with jerk season and cut into parts and steamed white rice, 1 bag of good quality tortilla chips, 1 small bag of salted plantain chips, and 1 bag of fire hot crunchy Cheetos brand cheese doodles. The rider also says that Rihanna may ask for hard boiled eggs, turkey bacon and turkey sausage at any time throughout the day so organizers better be prepared. It’s obvious she loves food.

At 19 years old, Taylor Swift rocked the Country Music Association Awards this past Wednesday by winning all 4 awards for which she was nominated and making her the youngest person and first female solo act to win the Country Music Association’s entertainer of the year award. The golden girl of a singer said “I’ll never forget this moment because in this moment everything that I have ever wanted has just happened to me. Every single person in that category let me open up for them this year. Thank you all so much. I love you.” Taylor brought her band on stage to help her celebrate and her father was shown crying in the audience. Congratulations!
Mariah Carey Finally Gets It

Mariah Carey has released a new song. And with that release, I can unofficially say that her mediocre streak has finally come to an end. ‘100%’ was written for the singer’s Oscar-worthy new film ‘Precious’. And as much as I hate to say it, I like the song. No, scratch that. I absolutely love the song. It’s too bad that whoever chose this song to be sung by her and to be part of the film wasn’t the same person who was working on what songs to put on her album too. I’m sure whoever that guy was could have made a world of difference with the way her music career is going if he was.

Once she got her break on Britain’s Got Talent, Susan Boyle had no idea that it would lead to a breakdown. After going into a clinic to fight stress and anxiety, the singer is finally talking about what drove her over the edge. Susan said “There were phone calls 24 hours a day. They kept me awake for three weeks, until I changed my number. It was constant. There were a lot of press people outside my door, a lot of television people, a lot of people who wanted a piece of me. It got to the stage where I couldn’t even go outside because the media — American television crews, too — surrounded the house. It was like being inside a giant pressure cooker, where the lid bubbles up and bubbles up and soon the pressure cooker goes. Everything had built up, and I was exhausted. You have to understand, my life ceased to be normal.”

Britney Spears’ first tour in Australia continues to feel the heat and it’s making the pop star upset. After being criticized by the media for lip synching and reports of fans walking out of her concert, the singer’s tour promoter quickly came to her defense saying “Britney is aware of all this and she’s extremely upset by it. She’s a human being. I’m embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting.” Britney has always lip synched her performance and everyone is aware of that. So what’s with all the fuss?

American Idol champ Kris Allen recently debuted the music video for his single ‘Live Like We’re Dying’. The 24-year old singer told PopEater “It was cool because we actually shot it in the desert in L.A. in the middle of nowhere in this junkyard. I’m pulling the big cord through the junkyard…then I plug in the clock and it starts counting down to zero. It was my first video, so I was really trying to have a great time.” Kris’ self-titled debut album will be in stores next week, November 17, Tuesday. Unlike Adam Lambert, Kris’ debut seems to be doing well enough.
