It looks like there will finally be an answer to this very question. The rap pioneer was shot in a recording
studio in 2002 and it is just now that a suspect has been named. That name being Ronald “Tenad”Washington, and quite a
name it is. Evidently this Tenad guy was
second string to the shooter. It’s
interesting to note on the subject for his guilt that Tenad was convicted for a
string of robberies that happened right after the Jam Master was gunned
down. Sounds to me like someone was on a
roll that day.
Understandably, the Jam Master’s family is
relieved to finally have some progress on the case. No doubt.
If I had had to site through five years of waiting and wondering I might
have pulled a gun on someone myself. I love
it when progress is made toward the vindication of justice. It’s just so rare that it happens. I hope that with the pressure on Tenad he
will name the gunman and we can finally find out the name of the man who pulled
the trigger.
