iPods will Kill the Old!

If you are old, do NOT buy an iPod. It will KILL you! This just in according to a new study by teens that shows that iPods can tamper with pacemakers. An iPod held close to the chest can affect the workings of the pacemakers, which is very dangerous. 100 patients were tested with device, and in all cases the iPods were shown to affect pacemakers being held as far away as 18 inches. That means that if you KNOW someone who is old you should never wear your iPod around them. Jay Thaker, lead author of the study and a student at Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan, concluded that iPod interference can lead physicians to misdiagnose actual heart function.
Now, I realize the chances of the elderly purchasing iPods are low, but this is still deadly news. They did not study other mp3 devices in their tests however, so it’s not certain if it’s all music devices that kill or only Apple’s. Either way, it’s sobering to realize that your doctor might think you have a heart problem, when it just might be your playlist that’s oh so wrong.
