Live music is the latest field of activity that is eyed by iTunes. Their technology will back the free iTunes Festival that will be held in London in July. Apple managed to put together a huge show with over 60 artists already confirmed for the events. Mika will start it off on July 1 and others that will be featured include Travis, Amy Winehouse, Crowded House, Stereophonics, Beverley Knight and Editors.
Fans that want to get their hands on a ticket will need to go to the official iTunes Festival web site and enter different competitions. In this 31 days program organizers will give access to artist interviews, videos, pictures, blogs and different podcasts. As expected there is also something to make money of. Every single concert will be recorded and sold on iTunes. This is the first event of its kind and people are skeptic when talking about results.
