The music industry has reacted angrily at a decision to give away the new album by US musician Prince with a tabloid newspaper. Planet Earth will be given free with a future edition of the Mail on Sunday. The 10-track CD from Prince - whose hits include Purple Rain, Sign O’ The Times and Cream - is not due to be released until 24 July. So what if a single is available to readers free of cost, the producers or music companies along with the singers have earned millions of dollars selling CD’s and DVD’s over the year and one time there is something that is a value offer for the customer, the music companies are up in arms saying that it could set a wrong precedent for the industry. All they want is to secure their profit selling sometimes awful music and they are willing to over pay the singers but not reduce the prices of their CD’s. .

In a court hearing for it, Eve plead to a no contest. She was not present however but her high-powered attorney Blair Berk appeared in Los Angeles County Superior Court on her behalf.
Under the terms of the plea, the rapper must spend 45 days with a SCRAM alcohol monitoring device attached to her ankle, 36 months of ‘informal probation, pay $1400 in fines and penalties and enrol in the first offender alcohol education program. The first and the last terms must be done by the 20th of July.
