Pumping Madonna

Madonna performed on the UK stage of the Live Earth concert series. The concert was held at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Before performing ‘Ray of Light’, Madonna pumped out the crowd saying “There’s been a lot of talk about conserving energy tonight, but right now I don’t want to hear any one of you save any of your energy right now! C’mon mother****ers! If I’m playing a guitar, not one of your feet can touch the ground! I wanna see this whole city jumping!”

Talk about conviction. Too bad the investments made by her foundation aren’t sharing the same sentiments.

Crowd-Pleasing Rihanna

It seems like Rihanna can do no wrong. The ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ singer knows exactly what she’s doing as she pleased the Japanese crowd with her performance at the Tokyo leg of the Live Earth concert series.

Live Earth was launched by former US Vice President Al Gore to combat global warming. And what better way to bring awareness to the forefront by having some of the biggest and brightest stars show their support?

I don’t know whether Rihanna was able to pass the message along, but it didn’t hurt to have to watch the beautiful lady do her thing.
