Carrie Underwood is sure to lead the new releases in the charts as her radio friendly single ‘So Small’ debuted at #6 on the Soundscan singles chart in the US. Her single is most likely to trump Britney Spears’ good but not really that great of a single ‘Gimme More’.
Soulja Boy’s ‘Crank That’ beat Kanye West for the top spot as Kanye’s ‘Stronger’ stepped down to #2. However, Kanye is still ahead of 50 Cent with ‘Ayo Technology’ which is all the way down at #15.
Nickelback continues to do well as the band jumped to #3 with ‘Rockstar’ while Rihanna’s ‘Shut Up and Drive’ just missed the top 10 as the single sits in at #11.
What’s interesting with this week’s chart? Pink’s ‘Who Knew’ jumped from #25 to #19. Mind you, that track was released a year ago!
