Beyonce is a Diva

Beyonce was recently spotted filming the music video for her new single ‘Diva’ in downtown Los Angeles. It seems that she has gotten very fond of the cyborg hand from her ‘Single Ladies’ video because it’s back with a vengeance on this new video. In one scene, the singer lit up a cigar and then threw a lighter onto a car which exploded just 20 feet away from her. The lyrics for the song are so right on for that scene. ‘Diva is a female version of a hustler, of a hustler, of a hustler.’ And take a peek at Beyonce’s silver-tasseled sunglasses. It’s like the ladies’ version of Kanye’s window shade glasses.

Britney Spears Still Under Construction

It looks like Britney Spears’ cracks haven’t been completed repaired and it’s starting to show. Maybe getting her latest album out too soon was too great of pressure on her. The promotion that goes along with a new release might be too much for her to handle too. A ton on London fans say that the recovered singer ditched out on a heavily promoted and hyped appearance/performance at the capital’s Heaven club last weekend. Apparently, Britney made it to the venue but never came out to perform which resulted to a lot of angry fans. It looks like she has a lot of making up to do to her London fans.

A Different Kanye

Kanye West has always been outspokenly arrogant but what he says of his new album ‘808s & Heartbreak’ is coming from a different side of the rapper. He says that the album is great art and that he doesn’t really care about sales. That’s easy for him to say because he’s used to having best selling records and awards. Moving away from his usual style, Kanye sings on most of the tracks on the new album. He says “You know people sometimes don’t understand great art when they first hear it, but I am very confident in it. Whether it sells as much as the last one, or way more, I feel like I am just successful in doing something I felt really good about.”
