Partygoers in Bellevue, Washington shelled out some money to party with R&B singer Ne-Yo last on New Year’s Eve as he was advertised to perform at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center with tickets starting at $75 and running up to $1200 for a VIP table. The problem is that he never showed up. One partygoer said “Everything from the tickets to the Web site indicated that Ne-Yo would be there. At 11:30 they had a pre-recorded message from Ne-Yo. He was on a plane from Nigeria and not able to come. They probably knew a day in advance. They could have canceled or given a refund.”

Unconfirmed reports surfaced last week that Soulja Boy and several of his close friends were ambushed and robbed at gunpoint after six men invaded the rapper’s home. A rep for the rapper has recently confirmed those reports. The alleged robbers even released a video claiming responsibility for the crime the next day. In the video, a masked duo boasts of stalking Soulja Boy before the attack by attending his album release party and subsequently trailing the teenage rapper home. They say that there were only two of them to have committed the crime with just one weapon instead of the reported six carrying pistols and AK-47s.
