It’s been over a week since the inaugural celebration in Washington DC but people are still talking about it. Beyonce recently talked about her experience about her performance and being there saying “I can’t even describe to you how I felt. I’m actually right now fighting back tears because it’s just so emotional. I’m just so proud of my country. There are just certain people in the world that God touches, and this man was born for this. And he was born to lead us, and I just feel so inspired and so proud.” Most of her recent musings may not be good but her thoughts about the president are something that she’s not alone on.

Leona Lewis has finally premiered her latest music video for her song ‘I Will Be’. ‘Gossip Girl’ hunk Chace Crawford has several speaking lines in a brief cameo at the beginning of the video. The music video was directed by Melina Matsoukas, who also directed the international version of Leona’s ‘Bleeding Love’ music video. In the video for ‘I Will Be’, Leona plays a criminal who gets arrested by an NYPD officer, played by Cedric Darius. It looked like Leona got to practice her acting chops for this one. I wonder if she has any plans to go into acting. Maybe she can have a cameo on ‘Gossip Girl’.

The rumored second single to come off of Kelly Clarkson’s upcoming new album is said to be ‘I Do Not Hook Up’. The single was actually written by Katy Perry around three years ago with Greg Wells, one of Mika’s producers, and Kara DioGuardi, the new judge on American Idol. Katy even recorded a demo for the song. Her version is of course on the techno dance pop genre. I can’t wait to hear just what Kelly’s version is like. I still can’t get over how there are very little or no leaks at all regarding Kelly’s upcoming album. I don’t even know what to expect anymore.
