Snoop Dogg has split with his record label of almost 10 year, the rapper has confirmed that since now onwards he will no longer release albums through Interscope records. Snoop started in 1993 under the label’s subsidiary Death Row Records.
Snoop Dogg has worked with labels such as Master P’s No Limit Records and produced 3 albums with them and briefly he was associated with EMI in 2002 before returning to Interscope. In all Snoop has dished out 9 Studio albums with the last one being Ego Trippin’ released in 2008. The reasons for the sudden split in not known.
Well what is there to be known, it is a simple calculated business move that the rapper has made. There are usually only 2 reasons for such moves, either better pay & better package or irreplaceable differences with between him and the bosses so what does he do, he walks out on them.
I seem to have figured this out quickly because the entertainment business is a tough place where people stick as long as it is convenient and thereafter it’s their own convenience that matters first.
