Britney Spears for Candies

Britney Spears shows off her sexy body in the new promotional poster of Candie’s for her upcoming spring Candie’s campaign. The 27-year old recovered pop star talked about doing the campaign saying “I had so much fun shooting the Candies for Kohl’s campaign. My favorite set-up was against the gigantic wall of pink cotton candy.” If only things were always that fine and dandy in her world… If you haven’t heard about it yet, a voicemail recording is going around of Britney asking for some help as she was fearing that her dad was going to take her kids away from her.britney-spears-sexy

Megan Joy Booted Off American Idol

You would think that nothing can go wrong if you choose a Bob Marley song but not even the iconic Reggae master could help save Megan Joy from the chopping block of Wednesday’s elimination show of American Idol. The tattooed single mother from Utah made her exit after singing ‘Turn Your Lights Down Low’. Simon Cowell was both frank and gracious when Megan’s name was announced saying “When you said that you don’t care, nor do we. I’m not going to even pretend we’re going to contemplate saving you.” Anoop Desai and Allison Iraheta were the other two people in the bottom three this week.

Wino and Jay-Z Duet

Amy Winehouse might be enlisting the help of rapper Jay-Z to save her current album which is expected to be released later this year. The 25-year old singer is struggling with her record label who didn’t like the reggae tones that they heard on the current album. It looks like her extended vacation in St. Lucia was a big influence on her. Jay-Z, who has already helped Wino by remixing her song ‘Rehab’, told the Sun “Amy has a really powerful voice, it is so distinctive and beautiful. Hopefully in the future we could get together and work on some new material – I’d love to work with her again.”amy-winehouse
