Britney Spears may take her Circus tour Down Under.

Pop princess Britney Spears could play a number of dates in Australia if lawyers representing the star get the ok from a Los Angeles court.

Attorneys representing Britney and father Jamie Spears’ conservatorship over the star discussed in court today the possibility of extending her successful Circus tour by adding new dates in Australia and Europe.

Nothing was finalised in the meeting and another court date has been set for April 14.

Under the rules of the conservatorship – a legal agreement that has seen Jamie Spears effectively take control of all of his daughter’s affairs – lawyers and the court must first agree to the new dates being added.

The conservatorship has been in place since February 1, 2008, and was recently extended indefinitely in December.

The Circus tour, which is currently in Canada, moves to the UK June 3 in London, for eight sell-out shows before closing in Manchester June 17.
