Jay-Z has finally announced a release date for his much-anticipated album ‘Blueprint 3’. It took him long enough. The record will be released through Warner Music Group instead of Def Jam and it is set to hit stores on September 11th. The release date, as well as being 8 years after the 9/11 attacks, is also the 8th anniversary of the rapper’s first ‘Blueprint’ album. I guess it all comes full circle for him. Or maybe he planned it that way. If so, shame on him for making his fans wait. But then again, maybe he just waited until he could get out of Def Jam.
