Britain’s Got Talent finalist Shaheen Jafargholi will join Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie and Stevie Wonder in an all-star memorial to Michael Jackson.
The 12-year-old boy from Wales, who wowed judges with his version of Jackson’s hit Who’s Lovin’ You, is on the preliminary list of performers announced by the Jackson Family.
Other celebrities appearing at the star-studded memorial at The Staples Centre in LA include Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson, singer John Mayer, basketball player Kobe Bryant, actress Brooke Shields, R&B singer Usher, sports veteran Magic Johnson, Smokey Robinson, the Andrae Crouch Choir, and the Reverend Al Sharpton.
Motown founder Berry Gordy, who helped launch Jackson’s career, will also appear, while two of the late Martin Luther King JR’s children – Martin Luther King III and Bernice A King – will also pay tribute to the pop legend.
