Michael Jackson’s long-term friend has spoken out about the star and his “normal” kids.
The 50-year-old King of Pop passed away in LA on June 25 and a memorial service was recently held for the star at the Staples Center. Jacko’s three children attended the event and his daughter Paris, 11, made a speech.
Michael’s friend Mike Seropian worked with Michael’s personal transportation company and said the star was an excellent father.
He said: “He was a very good father… whatever he was, he was for his kids. He wanted to be the father his father never was for him.”
He added: “He used to hold their hands and walk them everywhere. He would give them extra care and make sure they were all right. If the kids weren’t feeling well, Michael would be uncomfortable all day and night.”
Michael tried to keep the children out of the spotlight that came with his massive fame and Seropian said: “[His] kids were normal. They were very proper. Spoke proper English and were very well spoken. They were very disciplined and weren’t spoiled.”
Seropian also revealed he was very close to his children’s nanny Grace but he wouldn’t confirm if they had a relationship.
He said: “[They] were very close… sometimes, he would tell Grace that he’s going take her to Europe and take her around [with him]. He was very close with her, but I don’t know if they were intimate or not.”
