Angry fans are demanding their money back after Britpop band Oasis split after a huge bust up between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher
The band were set to perform at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris but the crowd were told by Bloc Party, who were performing before Oasis, that the band would not be taking the stage.
It was the second time in a week a gig had been cancelled due to ‘an altercation within the band’.
According to reports in the UK, Noel and Liam traded blows in a vicious fight - in which Liam smashed Noel’s guitar - just before they were due on stage at the festival.
Just hours later Noel revealed he had quit the band and posted a statement on Oasis’ website which revealed he could not bear to share the stage with brother Liam.
The statement read: “It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.
“Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan.”
Now furious fans are demanding refunds for the concerts Oasis were still left to play in France, Germany and Italy.
But they may be left out of pocket, with promoters insisting all concerts will go ahead with acts like Kasabian and The Kooks replacing Oasis.

According to his brother Nick, Kevin Jonas and his fiancé Danielle Deleasa are planning to get married this winter. Nick revealed in a radio interview last week that “They have not set a date yet, but I think that it’ll be sometime around the end of the year, beginning of the year - something like that.” The youngest member in the trio of singers also said that Kevin has yet to pick which one of the Jonas Brothers will serve as his best man but Nick and Joe aren’t stressing about their brother’s choice and say that they’re “happy to have [Danielle] as part of the family”.

Singer Adam Lambert recently recorded a video message to help support high-need public school classrooms on DonorsChoose.org. The 27-year old American Idol alum said “My fans have been so amazing in their support that I would love for them to contribute to something I believe in. Every kid deserves a great education and access to the materials and experiences that make it possible. I’m so thrilled to team up with DonorsChoose.org and encourage my fans to support arts and music projects in classrooms.” You can watch his video message on the website. If you can ignore the semi-annoying video editing, I hope you take the time to donate as well.

Officials from the Orthodox Church in Bulgaria have released a statement expressing their “disapproval and disagreement” with Madonna’s upcoming show in Sofia, Bulgaria this Saturday. The Queen of Pop could be over 100 years old and she will still be controversial somewhere in the world. The church is hoping to convince their members to refrain from attending the singer’s show, claiming that Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour showcases a “disrespectful and intolerant attitude” to Christians. However, Madonna will still be performing at Sofia’s Vasil Levski Stadium this coming Saturday wheter the Orthodox Church likes it or not.

Vibe magazine originally shut down in June when its previous owners couldn’t find any new buyers or a way to get rid of their debt. However, the hip hop and R&B magazine has proven that miracles can happen as it will soon make its comeback. The magazine was purchased this month by a group led by a private equity fund, InterMedia Partners. To bring back the magazine, they’ve chosen Jermain Hall as its editor in chief of Vibe and its website. According to the co-chief executive of the Vibe Lifestyle Network, Vibe’s website would provide info on urban music and entertainment on a “regular, daily, hourly, by-minute basis” while the print magazine would focus on more investigative style

Heidi Montag took the stage to perform her song ‘Body Language’ at the Miss Universe pageant last Sunday in a sequined bra and skin tight pants that were reminiscent of Britney Spears’ outfit for her 2000 MTV VMAs performance. ‘The Hills’ star and aspiring singer apparently wanted to draw the comparison as Heidi said “I grew up watching Britney Spears. That’s someone I inspire to be, you know, like, career wise. I think the world is ready for the next pop star and I’m ready to be the next pop galaxy, so here we go.” It was her first performance. She hasn’t even broken the pop bubble.

The 3-stop tour featuring Michael Jackson’s memorabilia was recently given the go signal by the court. Even though both the late singer’s brother Randy and his mother Katherine opposed the tour, a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge gave the ok, stating that there was “no question in [his] mind that this agreement is in the best interest of the estate.” The tour, which the King of Pop’s children are reportedly in favor of, is projected to earn $6 million. Michael’s exhibition will debut at the O2 Arena in London around the time of the upcoming ‘This is It’ concert film is released and will take up residency at the arena for 4 to 6 months before moving to other yet to be decided cities.

Just like the tripod that ended up getting tossed into the sea, the charges against Jay-Z’s bodyguard have officially been thrown out. Law enforcement sources from Croatia say that there will be no jail time for the rapper’s hired muscle, who previously had assault and destroying personal property charges filed against him after a tussle with a local reporter last week. The bodyguard will have to pay a fine though but we’re told that the police will not pursue any other legal action. Isn’t that a bit unfair considering it was the photographer who through the tripod at the bodyguard in the first place?

As it has been reported, 26-year old Miranda Tozier-Robbins was caught outside of Britney Spears’ Calabasas home a few months ago after security found her dressed in army gear and spying through the singer’s windows with a video camera in hand. The crazed girl was arrested and issued a restraining order. However, during her sentencing last week, the woman was cleared of trespassing and was instead found guilty of misdemeanor peeking. She was then sentenced to three years probation along with a fine of $100 plus penalties and 240 hours of community service. She will also still have to keep the terms of her restraining order and stay 100 yards away from Britney, her kids and her home at all times.

Sir Paul McCartney has spoken out about his relationship with John Lennon and denied reports that they didn’t get on.
Sir Paul, 66, has revealed the truth about his friendship with his Beatles bandmate, who was shot dead outside his home in 1980.
The singer denied claims that John had complained in interviews that he had ruined songs by not committing enough creative energy to them.
Sir Paul said: “Oh, he was on drugs, wasn’t he? This is the trouble with history, with journalism. John said so much c**p that he later said he hadn’t meant. It’s bulls**t.”
He also told the UK’s Radio Times magazine: “The image of John is seriously flawed because he was not the hard, mad man that people think he was. He was a very soft-centred guy and we had a lot more in common than people think.
“Whatever bad things John said about me, he would also slip his glasses down to the end of his nose and say, ‘I love you’. That’s really what I hold on to. That’s what I believe. The rest is showing off.”

Three phone calls made by Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Conrad Murray, in the critical minutes after he discovered the singer was not breathing were those made to a lawyer, a doctor and a mystery associate, the UK Sun newspaper claims.
The existence of the calls surfaced in leaked court papers but the identity of the parties called remains unconfirmed. Murray, at the center of a manslaughter probe, phoned Arnold Klein, Jackson’s longtime dermatologist in a panic, asking him what to do, the paper claims.
The three calls were made in a 47-minute time-frame that falls after Murray’s discovery of the pop star not breathing at 10.52am. Murray has admitted to giving in to Jackson’s demand for propofol and giving him 25 milligrams of the drug with lidocaine.
He said he left Jackson at 10.50 for two minutes to go to the bathroom and came back to find he was not breathing. He started CPR, but an emergency call was not made until about 12.22 by a security guard.

Chris Brown filmed a cameo in Keri Hilson’s new ‘Slow Dance’ music video in Los Angeles last week. The 20-year old R&B singer seems to be taking the slow route when it comes to attempting to make a comeback by only taking on very little appearances and cameos. Chris is expected to be back in court for sentencing this week for assaulting Rihanna after a party earlier this year. Maybe that’s why he’s still keeping his schedule light. Recently, a new track from Chris, called ‘Changed Man’, was leaked and people believe that this was some sort of apology for the Barbadian beauty.

LeAnn Rimes can have Eddie Cibrian, according to Cibrian’s ex-wife.
“He’s all yours,” said Brandi Glanville in response to the couple’s public outing that follows on from months of rumours about their secret liaison.
Both are married. But Cibrian, 36, and Rimes, 26, recently separated from their respective spouses, Glanville and Dean Sheremet.
The two were seen out on the golf course looking super relaxed. Glanville said: “He’s just somebody I don’t know. I don’t understand. You think you know one thing and you wake up and it’s all been a lie.”
Glanville said it was difficult to explain to her young sons, Mason, six, and Jake, two. She said they are happy to see him when he visits. “I’m just like: ‘You know what? You’re not the man I married.” She said that she told Rimes, who she has spoken to on two recent occasions, “He’s all yours.”

Former Spice Girls star Mel B is reportedly feeling the pressure as her US dream is said to be falling apart.
The 33-year-old star, who is set to return to the UK soon to spend a week guest presenting on ITV’s Loose Women, moved to Los Angeles six years ago to make it big but is struggling to find work there.
A source told British magazine Closer: “Mel is upset about how things have turned out. She is very low in confidence right now.”
Mel’s last job was working on PeepShow, a raunchy burlesque show in Las Vegas.
A source close to Mel said: “She was very upset when she was replaced by Hugh Hefner’s ex-girlfriend, Holly Madison. She had plenty of contacts over there promising her the moon, so she decided to move out and go for broke but it never happened.”
Mel’s marriage to Stephen Belafonte is also thought to be feeling the strain.
Her friend added: “Stephen is Mel’s manager, so their world revolves around Mel’s career. Working together and being married puts a strain on them - especially with Mel not getting any work.”

A legal row has erupted between two companies who claim they have exclusive rights to sell Michael Jackson wigs.
A company that makes powdered wigs for solicitors and barristers in England is suing a costume company for claiming that it has the sole rights to market the King of Pop hairpieces.
R.H. Smith & Sons, which has been making the courtroom wigs for more than a century, has filed the lawsuit in federal court in New York.
It says Rubie’s Costume Company has been sending out emails claiming it has exclusive worldwide rights to market Jacko wigs, costumes and accessories.
R.H. Smith & Sons insists it is under licence from MJ Licensing LLC to market Jackson wigs.
The company says Rubie’s claims to exclusivity has damaged its business.
It wants an injunction stopping Rubie’s promoting the products, and damages.
R.H. Smith & Sons is also demanding Rubie’s contact all clients it has been in touch with to set the record straight.

After Lil Wayne’s shot at Cricket Pavillion in Phoenix, two of his four tour buses stopped at a nearby apartment complex when all hell broke loose. Witnesses claimed that several women were seen going in and out of the buses when the violence erupted. Stones and bottles were thrown and at least one shot was fired. Police were called to break up the fight but a 15-year old boy later filed a report claiming that, thanks to one of the singer’s bodyguards, he got bruised ribs as a souvenir. Lil Wayne is proving to be a big magnet for all sorts of trouble.

A source says that the singer’s friends are all excited about Wino getting back to the music but not that she’ll be closer to Blake. The source said “All her friends are worried though. She has mentioned she might meet Blake when he leaves rehab in Sheffield. Even more worrying is the fact that she has been feeling broody. That would be the ultimate disaster - the spawn of Fielder-Civil.”

U2 has long been preaching about world hunger and environmental issues but the band has ignited some harsh criticism over the cost of their recent world tour. The 3 steel structures that make up the band’s custom-built stage cost between £15 and £20 million each and is easily the most ambitious endeavour of any world tour. Talking Heads singer David Byrne offered his thoughts saying “$40 million to build the stage and, having done the math, we estimate 200 semi trucks crisscrossing Europe for the duration. It could be professional envy speaking here, but it sure looks like, well, overkill, and just a wee bit out of balance given all the starving people in Africa and all.”

Christina Aguilera is still keeping quiet about the details of her upcoming album but the singer recently told APE radio station last week that “I can’t let too much out the bag too soon. I just can’t, ‘cause I really want you guys to be surprised and to experience firsthand what I’m talking about or what I’m not talking too much about. Too soon in the game, but wrapping everything up now. I think I’m most proud of this work than I’ve ever been, just because I worked with so many amazing and incredibly talented people. [Sia and I] did a lot of work on this record together, and she’s just a complete gem. She’s truly just such a talented force to be reckoned with. And I so enjoyed her company, and I think we really created some super crazy magic together. I got a chance to sort of write with Santigold, M.I.A., Lady Tron — artists that I really love.”
