Singer Beyonce has reportedly been targeted by extremists who want her to cancel one of her gigs.

It is claimed the singer’s sexy outfits and stage routines have upset a right-wing Muslim party who call her routines “immoral” and a danger to young people.

The party are reportedly threatening to “take action” to stop the Sweet Dreams singer performing a show on her I Am… tour near to Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur, which is set for October 24.

Beyonce, 28, had to pull out of a gig in Malaysia two years ago because of the same issues.

The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party said: “This performance is not suitable for Muslims – her attire and behaviour onstage are immoral.”

Kara DioGuardi Talks Ellen DeGeneres

Kara DioGuardi has nothing but praise for the casting of Ellen DeGeneres as the 4th judge for the upcoming season of American Idol. She said “I think it’s a genius decision. I wish I had thought of it. I know a little bit about Ellen from watching her show and I would says she would probably be somebody who would be fair in her criticism and will try to be as supportive as she possibly could. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. “[Ellen will get along with everyone] 100 percent. I was on her show once and she’s lovely, generous, very kind. I think it’s going to be great.” I think that pretty much translates to Ellen being the exact opposite of Paula Abdul and that’s a great thing.

Lily Allen Fights for Artists’ Rights

Lily Allen has started her own blog tackling the topic of digital music piracy. The singer has written letters to many of her comrades requesting them to voice their opinions on music file sharing. She sent a lengthy letter to several artists, some of which, including James Blunt, Keane’s Tim Oxley and Muse’s Bill Bellamy, have written her back. Here’s part of her letter: “I feel really strongly about file sharing. I see it having a damaging effect on British music – especially on emerging artists. Overall the internet’s had a great effect on music and been crucial in helping people like me break through. But file sharing is different to legal streaming or making some music available as promotion. File sharing eats away at opportunity for new artists: by cutting off income at the most crucial, cash-strapped point in their careers and by limiting A&R’s ability to sign new acts outside of the mainstream.”
