Singer Morrissey has returned to his tour after collapsing on stage.
The 50-year-old performed at London’s Royal Albert Hall after collapsing in front of 1,000 fans at a concert in Swindon.
He was unconscious and helped from the stage by band members to be treated by paramedics on site. He was then taken to the Great Western Hospital and stayed overnight. He had cancelled several shows earlier this year, arousing concerns for his health.
But Morrissey’s spokeswoman said the star is now “rested and absolutely fine”.
At the Royal Albert Hall performance, the singer was quoted as saying: “Fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be a bumpy night. The doctor said I shouldn’t smile. I told him, ‘I don’t’.”

As we all know, Leona Lewis was attacked by an X Factor reject Peter Kowalczyk while at a London book signing of her autobiography, ‘Dreams’, earlier this month. The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer is now opening up about the terrible unprovoked attack, saying “It could have been worse. I’m still alive. It is just something you have to deal with when you have fame and the positives far outweigh the negatives. I don’t like to dwell on the negatives. I’m a very positive person.” And it probably helps that the guy is getting charged for attacking her. He clearly deserves whatever punishment will be given to him.

After receiving some harsh criticism after he unveiled his gender-bending album cover, American Idol alum Adam Lambert took to his Twitter to let everyone know what he thinks and giving no apologies. The singer tweeted “Thank you to those who appreciate and understand that the album cover is deliberately campy. It’s an omage to the past. It IS ridiculous. For those that don’t get it: oh well… Glad to have gotten your attention.” He gets an A for effort on spelling “homage” without the h. I for one love the album cover. I just hope the rest of his music is as fabulous.
