Lady Gaga tells fashion crowd that her favourite accessory is a condom

SPL136184_015

Lady Gaga stunned celebrities at a fashion awards show - by saying her favourite accessory is a condom!

The pop superstar had already turned heads at the Ace fashion gala in New York by arriving in one of her trademark outlandish outfits.

And she then also raised giggles by failing to eat any food at the awards show because of her lace headpiece making it impossible to get to her mouth.

But she got the most attention with her speech as she picked up her Stylemaker award from the Accessories Council in front of the celebrity crowd that included Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Betsey Johnson, Molly Sims, Glenda Bailey and supermodel Agyness Deyn.

“I think we must all remember that the ultimate accessory is the condom,” she said.

Meanwhile at her table at the awards onlookers saw her playing with a Barbie doll placed on her table, dressing it up to look like her.

Reason Why Robbie Williams Pulled Out of EMAs

It was reported that Robbie Williams has dropped out of the MTV Europe Music Awards last minute due to scheduling conflicts but it turns out that it was a bunch of crap. It’s now being said that MTV couldn’t meet with the singer’s over the top demands so he opted to not do the show. A source said “Every star is treated the same and has to work to the same parameters. Robbie is not different. But his reps, for some reason, said nearly everything wasn’t up to scratch. His no-show is costing us a lot of money. We tried to be accommodating, but they walked away with a week to go. It’s caused mayhem.” When you’re trying to make a comeback, I doubt having any tantrums would do you good. Some people are also saying that his awful X Factor performance is partly to blame for his no-show.

Lil Wayne Keeps Lawyers Busy

Lil Wayne is facing more legal problems. The rapper and his mentor Birdman are being sued for copyright infringement by a Florida resident, Thomas Marasciullo. The man is accusing both rappers of using his voice without his permission on several tracks. Back in 2006, the guy was asked to record “Italian-styled spoken-word recordings” for Cash Money Records and is claiming that those recordings were used on 4 tracks on Lil Wayne’s album ‘Like Father, Like Son’ and on Birdman’s ‘5 (Star) Stunna’ record. Why did it take him 3 years to file a lawsuit? Marasciullo is suing Cash Money and Universal Music for unspecified damages.

Glee Goes Gold

The ‘Glee’ cast recording of Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ has been certified gold after being downloaded over half a million times. And that’s just the legal downloads. With their tracks selling big time on iTunes, it was bound to happen sooner or later anyway. Actress Lea Michele talked about it saying “The great thing about our show is that some of the songs that we do sound very close to the original and others are completely re-done and ‘mashed up.’ It’s great that we’ve brought these old songs back and we’ve put a new twist to them, while still honoring the amazing songs that they are. Matthew Morrison added “I feel like we’re revitalizing the music industry. The younger generation hears songs they never heard before through our show. And I’ll be bold as to say that I think some of the records we’re doing are even better than the originals.”
