Host Forced to Apologize to Mariah Carey

GMTV’s Kate Garraway was allegedly forced to apologize by her bosses after saying that Mariah Carey acted like a diva when she brought her huge entourage with her while appearing on the show. If it’s the truth, why apologize? Naturally, the singer was upset by the name calling so Kate issued the apology. She wrote “’I am really sorry about the furore I caused last week after I wrote in this column about Mariah Carey’s appearance on GMTV… But it was wrong for me to add some jokes and gossip about her being a diva. Her management have now told me that I got hold of the wrong end of the stick completely and I am still reeling from the massive ticking off my bosses gave me for fuelling the rumours that Mariah is unreasonably demanding.” This was so unnecessary.
