Rage Against the Machine VS Simon Cowell

They may not have a Christmas album coming out but that’s not going to stop Rage Against the Machine from dominating the UK music charts this holiday season. In order to stop Simon Cowell’s X Factor kids from hitting the top spot with their Christmas tracks, the rock band is urging fans to download their 1992 hit ‘Killing in the Name’. The Facebook group which spearheads the campaign touted “Fed up of Simon Cowell’s latest karaoke act being Christmas No 1? Me too… So who’s up for a mass-purchase of the track Killing In The Name as a protest to the X Factor monotony?” Simon is not going to be happy.
