Chris Brown Induced Tears with Drops

There have been a lot of mixed responses to Chris Brown’s emotional Michael Jackson tribute at the BET Awards a couple of weeks ago. Some were touched by the R&B singer’s seemingly sincere breakdown while others claimed that he shed crocodile tears. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but reports are suggesting that he really is a douche bag. Sources backstage say that before Chris went on stage, his bodyguard gave him tear-inducing eye drops. Was he so desperate to get back in a favorable light with his audience that he’d exploit someone’s death? He is such an ass!

Justin Bieber Talks BET Awards

Some people were surprised that Justin Bieber didn’t show up at the BET Awards this past Sunday. Frankly, I was surprised he was even nominated. Anyway, the young pop singer had his reasons as he had his own concert to get to in Milwaukee. The teen heartthrob went on his Twitter to say “Rolled into Milwaukee for the show today…gonna be huge…22,000 people sold out. I heard. Missing everybody out in LA for the BET Awards … Just wanted to say I would have been at the awards, but this show was booked before the nominees came out, and I don’t cancel shows … I would never cancel a show and let down the fans unless I had to … but I do wish I was there too, because I am honored to just be nominated… But I do wish I was there too, because I am honored to just be nominated but just goes to show that music is COLOR BLIND!! It is the universal language, and good music brings us all together … the way it should be.”

Sasha Fierce Refuses to Die

Beyonce is nominated for a number of 2010 BET Awards this year, including best R&B female artist, video of the year, best collaboration and viewer’s choice. It’s all well and good but I have to admit that it made me a whole lot of confused. The singer’s album came out two years ago! How the heck is she still being nominated? Beyonce may have already buried Sasha Fierce but it seems that people just would not let her die. Despite my confusion, I would like to say congratulations to Beyonce and good luck with the nominations. I wonder if she’s going to perform at the ceremony.
