Beyonce’s Album Release

Beyonce was supposed to deliver the tracks of her new album at the start of this month in order to make its November release but things are looking a little shaky. A source tells Rush & Molloy that it’s going to be a close one because of the singer’s acting schedule, for one, and because of the duet with Justin Timberlake took a lot of time to do. It’s going to be an issue if she doesn’t get it out early in the fourth quarter. Her label chief at Sony says that the album will come out on time and that the first two singles off of the album will be utterly huge. Maybe the Justin track will be one of the first two singles.
Musicians Stand Up to Cancer

13 of the world’s most famous female singers of this day pose with song creators/producers LA Reid and Kenny ‘Babyface’ Edmonds at Fashion Rocks to sing the song ‘Just Stand Up’, the worldwide charity single which benefits Stand Up 2 Cancer. Keyshia Cole, Leona Lewis, Fergie, Ciara, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti, Nicole Scherzinger and Natasha Bedingfield are all decked out in their black Stand Up To Cancer t-shirts. The group said in its mission statement that “For the first time we can envision the possibility of stopping cancer in its tracks. But just when science is on the verge of giving us the breakthroughs that can end cancer, the will and the funding to do so are disappearing from the national agenda and from our collective consciousness.”

Beyonce Knowles had a furious row with husband Jay-Z over one of her biggest hit singles.
Beyonce, who is believed to have married the hip-hop mogul earlier this month, reportedly lost her temper at a concert when Jay-Z told the DJ to stop playing ‘Crazy in Love’ - a track which also features the rapper.
Jay-Z allegedly said: “F**k that. Sorry Beyonce but f**k that, lets play something else.”
The concert, which was held at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, was organised in support of US Presidential candidate Barack Obama.
A source said: “Beyonce had been side stage for most of the night, dancing and singing along. Jay-Z meant it as a joke but she didn’t see it that way. After he came off stage, she confronted him, demanding to know what the hell his comments had been about. She was gesturing wildly and not looking happy.
“Later, peace was restored and they were smiling and looking happy again.”
Kanye Loves Connect Four

Remember the video making rounds on the internet of Kanye West and Beyonce playing Connect Four in Kanye’s locker room? It looks like the rapper wasn’t kidding about being a junkie of the game. Kanye’s concert rider has been uncovered and it demands a Connect Four setup in his dressing room at every show even though he travels with his own set. You never know when you might lose a piece after all. And it seems that he’s not the only rapper getting addicted to the game. Jay-Z has his own video playing with a friend. It must be Beyonce’s influence.

Everyone pretty much knows that Rihanna and Chris Brown have a ‘very special’ relationship but when asked if she’s dating Chris, Rihanna is hell-bent on denying it. In an interview with the UK’s Fabulous magazine, the 20-year Barbadian signer is flat-out asked if she’s dating the 18-year old R&B crooner. Her response was “I’m single. If a good guy comes along we’ll make it work, but for now I’m having fun being a single woman.”
Oh well. Beyonce and Jay-Z dated for years before they came out with the truth. I guess she’s just playing with the new rules of dating in the business.

Beyonce and Kanye West chose to put aside their Connect Four rivalry aside as they shared a laugh during the New Jersey Nets’ NBA basketball game against the Seattle Supersonics on Wednesday night in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Nets won the game with a 99-88 victory. I’m sitting here wondering what the heck they were doing in New Jersey but I’m not going to ask.
Beyonce sat courtside and was sandwiched between her main man Jay-Z and Kanye. Their seats had ‘Rocawear’ emblazoned on the back. It’s the urban clothing label which was created by Jay-Z, Damon Dash and Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke.

Rap mogul Jay-Z celebrated his 38th birthday in Paris on Tuesday with his longtime girlfriend Beyonce.
People is reporting that “The two spent a leisurely day inside their hotel suite (which overlooks the famed Tuileries garden) and, at one point, Knowles hit the hotel’s luxurious spa. As evening fell, the couple took a Maybach limo for a romantic drive around the City of Light before settling down to an intimate dinner upstairs at popular restaurant L’Avenue. Afterward, they pulled up for the late show at the Crazy Horse cabaret, where they sipped champagne and watched the cast run through the club’s new ‘Forever Crazy’ revue.”

For the umpteenth time since they first paired up for the 2003 hit ‘Crazy in Love’ real-life musicians and lovers Jay-Z and Beyonce are teaming up. And it’s also shaping up to be the hottest ticket for the New Year’s Eve weekend.
Life & Style magazine is reporting that the first couple of hip hop will perform together around 12:30 am on December 30 for the Las Vegas opening of Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club. A friend of the couple reveals that the 37-year old rapper “wants his club to be the ultimate in entertainment. He knows the buzz is going to be huge.”

I think that the food drive Beyonce has organized is a good and bad idea. Its great that she wants to help but all of the people that just want the picture will get a bunch of cans just for the autograph, but after once all of the pictures are gone, the rest of the people that heard about it will probably say oh well there is no longer anything in it for me so why should I help. I know that even if there was no picture I would still do it because I won a humanitarian award 3 years ago when I was in 9th grade. I love to help when help is needed but not everybody is like me and can’t I help that: NOOO! I would just like to point out to all of the people that are doing it just for the autograph. By the way, GO BEYONCE FOR STEPPING UP AND SPEAKING OUT AGAINST WORLD HUNGER, I commend you on that. And again to all the people that are helping just to help, you are the ones that will change the world, and to everybody else in the world remember this saying:”Never doubt that a small group can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.”

It’s Beyonce’s world and we all just happen to live in it… no matter how much we hate it.
Beyonce was joined on the red carpet by her little sister Solange and her mom Tina to announce that she will be launching her junior apparel collection ‘Dereon’ in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday. That takes up the world of fashion.
Let’s head back to her roots in the music world now. On August 21, Beyonce will be releasing ‘Ireemplazable’. It’s an eight track Spanish language EP featuring select songs from Beyonce’s hit album ‘B’Day’.
B also has an unreleased duet with the beloved R&B singer Luther Vandross. That track will be featured in a new box set of the late singer’s hits. That album will be released in October.

Is there a chink in Toni Braxton’s business chain? The “Un-Break My Heart” chanteuse was sued for breach-of-contract Friday by a costume designer who claims that Braxton bounced a check and has yet to pay their agreed-upon fee for his work on her Las Vegas show, Toni Braxton: Revealed. Hey guys lets not read too much into this story, these singer are very particular about their dresses and may be the costume designer put in the wrong stitches in her dresses for the event and she thought the best way to teach him/her a lesson would be to stop the payments. Goodness me that it didn’t have a wardrobe malfunction or else we could have been treated to something like Janet Jackson breast’s show off not long ago. Toni is a six time Grammy Award winner and must surely being having enough money to pay a $35,000 bill.

Beyonce Knowles made a dramatic misstep when she fell face-first down a flight of stairs during a concert. Ever the stage professional, she got right up and continued her performance as if nothing had happened. The 25-year-old singer - flipping her hair dramatically and wearing a long red trench coat and high heels - was performing her song “Ring the Alarm” during a concert this week in Orlando, Fla., when she tripped and stumbled down several stairs. Anyone can have a slip up so what’s the big deal about it all, me and you have not once but hundreds of times missed a step or had a slip on the staircase of our homes. But we all love to see our most loved stars have a slip in front of us so that there is a hot topic to make tall claims on. The next morning sitting in the parks with friends who saw it on internet site YouTube or live at the concert, giggling on what happened and yet making more gossip stories.

Beyonce has been one busy bee since she popped into the scene with Destiny’s Child. She has since gone solo, launched a clothing line and acted in a movie but she may have some secret big plans for the months ahead.
Rumor has it that Jay-z’s long time lover may be carrying his baby. There are even some whispers going around that the Irreplaceable singer has been acting differently lately with the common denominator for her actions being pregnancy.
She’s become anal with people smoking around her, saying no to alcohol and even giving up on her strict diet – coincidence or confirmation?

The two hottest female singers recently released their first duet which turned immediately into a hit and reached the top of American charts.
The clip for the song is amazing. It describes the story of two women who are in love with the same man and are fighting for him but at the end they turn their back on him.
I think one of the ideas of the video is to show that the friendship and the dignity are more important than one man.
In my point of view this is one of the most successful duets because the two singers know how to blow up the public. They have such a sexy vision and so amazing voices which can’t leave you apathic. I hope we’ll have the chance to hear at least another duet because together they are incredible.
