Ke$ha knocks Susan Boyle off the top of US album charts

Pop singer Ke$ha has ended Susan Boyle’s six-week run at the top of the US album charts.
The 22-year-old singer has knocked Boyle, 48, off the top of the charts after her album, Animal, sold 59,000 more copies than Boyle’s debut album, I Dreamed A Dream.
A whopping 76 per cent of Ke$ha’s album sales came from digital download stores, according to reports.
Her debut single Tik Tok broke download records for a female singer in America, when it was released in the US last year.
The top three albums in the US charts are all by female artists – Lady Gaga’s album The Fame is at number three with Boyle’s album taking the second top spot.
Brooke Hogan Makes the Charts
Brooke Hogan’s album ‘The Redemption’ has debuted on the Billboard 200 charts last week. But before you faint in surprise, the wannabe singer is actually lucky that she got on the chart at all. If there was ever a pathetic showing on a debut week, hers would be it. She came in at #144 with 3,381 copies sold. That’s just sad. I just hope that it would put an end to the madness known as her music career. That, or I’m just going to keep hoping that Hulk Hogan runs out of money so he can’t bribe anyone to give his daughter another chance or to buy the albums himself.
