Simon Cowell reportedly called Cheryl Cole a ’spoilt brat’ in the new X Factor series of the show.

Simon Cowell, 50, disagreed with Cheryl Cole, 27, over one of the acts on the UK show and accused her of being catty with her comments.

Simon Cowell called her the name after she had returned to the show following her battle with malaria.

She disagreed with him over an act and then stuck her tongue out at him.

Their fall-out came when band Electrolytes auditioned and Cole said to them: “Maybe you should try auditioning for a kids programme or something like that.”

Cowell then said: “Can we get cream, a saucer of milk for Cheryl, two saucers?”

Talk about ironic… Cheryl Cole, who has been voted time and again the most beautiful woman in many a poll and has had much the same impact on the world of fashion apparently discovered the benefits of dressing pretty only a few years ago. This is what she said on the matter: “About three years ago, I started to realize if you wear a pair of heels you feel more womanly. It was a ‘penny drop’ moment. I’d argue with the stylist and the girls to wear trainers all the time. I only developed all those ‘womanly’ things in the past three years. I’d snap my neck for shoes and handbags.” Such a big change in such a short time… given Cheryl Cole’s success in the matter, you’d think she had been doing this for much longer. Such is the power of irony.

A research company over at the UK questioned 2000 consumers about 100 celebrities and 100 brands to learn which famous man or woman was the most talked about as well as see what brands consumers frequently buy. So who’s the most famous celebrity in the UK? If you guessed Simon Cowell, you’re wrong. It’s a decent guess though. The real answer is Kylie Minogue. The Aussie beat out fellow singer Cheryl Cole and soccer stud David Beckham. Who knew that the petite siren would have topped the sexy football player? Did they interview most, or perhaps all, males for this survey?

Simon Cowell: ‘Cheryl Cole is now more popular than me’

X Factor boss Simon Cowell has said his fellow judge Cheryl Cole is now more popular than him.

The 50-year-old star said he had to persuade Cole, 26, to join the show as she was hesitant at first.

He said to UK magazine new!: “I had to really, really twist Cheryl’s arm because she didn’t know how good she was going to be.

“I kept saying to her: ‘If you do this, not only is it going to be great for the show, but I think it’s going to be great for you.’ And she must now be the most popular person on TV – more than me! Annoying, but it happens.”

Girls Aloud member and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has a lot to celebrate. The singer is now one of the few female artists ever to achieve simultaneously a UK number 1 single and album. I expected absolutely nothing less from her. Cheryl’s debut solo album ‘3 Words’ opened in the top spot while her single ‘Fight for this Love’ arrived at number 1 last week. The single has also been dubbed the UK’s fastest selling single of the year and has held on to the top honor for the second week. Congratulations Cheryl! I wonder if any of her band mates can match what she’s done.

The music man recently hired the singer Cheryll Cole to judge on the “X-Factor” after being supposedly very moved by her performance on the show. However, she seems to have some problems being able to sing in the US so Cowell is trying to solve those problems. A source had the following to say: “Simon was dazzled by Cheryl’s performance on “The X Factor. He’s certain he can turn her into a global star, but he just needs to iron out her visa problem. He’s employed a firm of experts in Miami and is confident they will be able to reach some kind of arrangement.” Right, and I’m sure he’s doing this out of pure clemency for her situation, he can’t possibly have anything to profit from this, can he?
