Luckily for her American fans, the singer will be back in the USA starting in June for a 30-city tour. Details of that will be coming out soon.

Lady Gaga was forced to cancel one of her concerts last week at Purdue University due to a mystery illness. According to school reps, EMTs showed up at the Elliott Hall of Music to attend to the princess of pop but the singer’s people turned them away. Sources say that Lady Gaga simply went back to her tour bus and then left the school grounds. Both of her opening acts performed their sets though before concertgoers were told that Lady Gaga wasn’t going to be able to perform. The concert has since been rescheduled to January 26. I wonder what’s wrong with her.

For the first time in about ten years, Janet Jackson is set to go on tour in Europe next year! The pop singer made the announcement to Times Online. There are no further details known about it at this time though. Apart from the tour, Janet is also promoting her new album and writing a book called ‘True You’ which she says will take a look at her struggles with weight gain and self-esteem. She also talked about the pop princesses of today, her late brother Michael Jackson and what motivates her to keep going on with her career. She still sounds very broken up with Michael’s death but she seems to be in a much better place.

Lady Gaga knows exactly what’s going on in the world and that’s why the pop princess has plans on bringing each and everyone a little bit of joy by releasing a reasonably-priced standard version of her new album ‘The Fame Monster’. The singer said in a statement “In the midst of my creative journey composing The Fame Monster, there came an exciting revelation that this was in fact my sophomore album. I would not add, nor take away any songs from this EP. It is a complete conceptual and musical body of work that can stand on its own two feet. It doesn’t need The Fame… We may have an economy, but music has no economy. I will release four or more singles from The Fame Monster, tour the world with the Monster Ball Tour and most importantly, I insist on honoring my fans with an affordable new album, an album that is as loyal to them, as they have been me.”

The All American Rejects have had to cancel some of their concerts again, this time in Europe. The band’s lead singer Tyson Ritter took to his Twitter to explain. He said “I’m sorry Paris, I have to cancel tonight because my throat pussy aka ‘mother’ , aka voice isn’t comming out to play today. 1st time in 3yrs. I apologize sincerely to our Paris fans. This was unexpected & I’m sry. Koln as well. I had to cancel these shows or else my throat is dead. all the antibiotics I’ve been taking it’s put a great strain on my vocals and I have to rest or else I’m gambling with my voice. So sorry.” Tyson also had an injury earlier this month that prevented him from opening for Blink 182 in 2 shows and a headlining show in Atlantic City.

Lady Gaga’s upcoming tour is sure to be like nothing you’ve ever seen before. The singer herself describes it as a “multimedia artistic experience”. The pop princess recently had an interview with Rolling Stone to discuss her album and the tour. When asked how she came about the concept for the concerts, she said “I wanted to really put together a show that would be the most beautiful, expensive-looking, delicious show, but that my fans wouldn’t have to pay a ton of money to come see. So we’re playing a few nights in a row. I’ve got super loyal fans, so I feel this tremendous obligation to take care of them.”

Shamed singer Chris Brown will reportedly donate proceeds from his latest tour to a charity as he continues to try to reform his public image.
The 20-year-old is set to headline an event that raises hundreds of thousands of dollars to help and mentor people with intellectual disabilities in Florida.
And he will also donate portion of proceeds from his tour as well as volunteer to help out Best Buddies International, according to reports.
Despite Brown’s recent high-profile conviction for beating ex-girlfriend Rihanna, Anthony Shriver, who is part of the Kennedy clan and heads the charity, said he deserves a new chance.
In a email, he wrote: “I support Chris Brown’s efforts to show the world why he deserves a second chance, given that the commitment he has made to Best Buddies - not only to perform at our Miami Gala, but also to join the Best Buddies family as a volunteer - is a huge step in the right direction. I also appreciate Chris’ generous offer to donate a portion of proceeds from his tour to Best Buddies.
“I believe Chris’ fans will be equally inspired to support Best Buddies’ mission… once they see his enthusiasm and commitment to the cause - and just how much his efforts mean to our participants.”
The non-profit gala will take place in Palm Beach on November 20.

Axl Rose must be scraping the bottom of his cash barrel and really looking forward to getting any cash. In addition to selling out and handing over his catalog to be turned into children’s music, his band Guns N Roses is now going on tour in Canada. I’m not exactly sure how and why they were booked since their comeback album wasn’t a success. The tour will kick off on January 13th in Winnipeg and will continue across the country, wrapping up on February 4th in Halifax. Tickets go on sale today for $50 to $90. Why they think that people will pay that much to see a has-been band without all the original members is beyond me.

Ryan Gosling and his band mate Zach Shields have created a very unique video which announces the tour that their band Dead Man’s Bones is going on. The tour goes on all this month and it kicks off tonight at 8PM at Middle East in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The promo even involves a dog popping a bunch of balloons. The actor turned musician Ryan described the video saying “We have been severely influenced by the works of [actor] Jan Michael Vincent and early [philosopher/ novelist] Jean Paul Sartre and I guess this our way of saying “thank-you” to all those who stood for something real and several things unreal. For all the Lou Diamond Phillips of the world who can step out in faith and say ‘please show my date the way out, quick’! This is for you.”

Did you miss the chance to catch Taylor Swift when she swung into town for her sold out ‘Fearless’ tour this past summer? Well the country singing cutie is giving you another chance to catch her concert because she’s coming back for more. Starting February in Australia, the singer will be playing more than 5 shows down under and over 30 shows across Canada and the US. The tour will kick off on February 4th in Brisbane, Australia and will wrap up on June 2nd in Washington DC. Taylor spoke about the new tour saying “We had so much fun on the `Fearless’ tour the first time around that we decided that we had to keep going with it.”

Paramore took the stage to kick of their new US tour in Pomona last week. Things took a turn for the worst as lead singer Hayley Williams lost her voice after the set and couldn’t return for the encore. It now seems that her condition has gotten worse as the band was forced to postpone several tour dates. Hayley took to the band’s official website to explain the situation saying “After a 15 hour work day, 1 other show and 3 meet and greets later, my voice finally gave out on me… I made it through 7 or 8 songs alright and then, that was it…I’ve got laryngitis and need several days of vox rest. Luckily, we caught it early on… All in all, this is the reason for the postponement of the upcoming shows. Just know that we WILL be coming back for you guys! The entire tour is going to happen.”

The Kanye West and Lady Gaga ‘Fame Kills’ tour has been cancelled as concert promoters Live Nation confirmed recently. No official reason has been given for the cancellation. Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online and via phone will be refunded automatically. Well that’s a bummer. It would have been an epic joint tour. I wonder if the bad press that the rapper has been getting has anything to do with it. If I was Lady Gaga, I know I wouldn’t want to get associated with that kind of guy. Could this be the end of Kanye’s career?

If Mariah Carey has taught us anything, postponement is never a good thing. News has come out that Miley Cyrus’ new movie ‘The Last Song’ won’t be coming out in January as it was previously announced. The Disney star and tween singer’s new flick has been pushed back for an April 2010 showing. Miley has been showing fans the trailer of the movie on her Wonder World tour as well as singing a song from the soundtrack as a means to promote the movie. Now it all just seems that her hard work promoting the film was a waste. Oh well, it’s not like I had any plans to catch it.
