In case you were wondering what Lil Wayne has been up to in prison, the rapper released a letter to fans on his website weezythanxyou.com. The legally troubled rap star said “So I’ve been writing and let me be the first to tell you that the lyrics that I’m writing are… well there’s no word that I can think of that properly defines them… I listen to the radio sometimes, emphasis on sometimes, and I hear the new music. I like some… Congrats to Drake and Nicki for all their recent success. Those 2 are going to have me retiring early. I love my team. Much love to Tez and Mack. I know that people are inquisitive of what I do all day, so here goes. I wake up around 11AM. Have some coffee. Call my kids, and my wonderful mother. I then shower up. Read fan mail. Have lunch. Back on the phone. Read a book or write some thoughts down. Have dinner. Phone. Pushups. Then I listen to ESPN on the radio. Read the bible, then sleep. That’s my day.”

The owners of Seaport in New York City have decided to nix Ke$ha’s upcoming free performance sponsored by Paper Magazine due to the crazy riot that occurred at the Drake and Hanson free concert recently. Senior marketing manager Lincoln Palsgrove said “Seaport Management has…chosen to cancel any forthcoming concerts in conjunction with Paper Magazine.” It sounds like the safest solution to me. Besides, who wants to see the dirty pop singer in concert anyway? Seaport is doing a huge favor to true blue music fans by not letting her perform. Now if they could just ban her from ever singing again, I would be happy.

Drake is talking about how Rihanna broke his heart again. In a radio interview held earlier this week, the rapper/singer said “I addressed it on my album. It’s not a broken heart, it’s just for me, I’m in such a confident position that I’m almost numb to feeling small. It’s been so long since a woman has made me feel small and that’s a real emotion. When you want to be a part of a woman’s life and you are nervous, all of these things that maybe I was when I was 15 or 16, it’s just been a while since I felt like that. I really looked at it as paying homage to her for giving me that feeling. I just respect her for bringing that feeling back for me because it was real. It was a real emotion.” He should give it up already.

After the whole issue with Chris Brown, Rihanna was briefly linked in the romantic sense to singer/rapper Drake. The Barbadian babe then moved on to Matt Kemp relatively quickly, and now, Drake is finally speaking out about what went down between him and Rihanna. He said “I was a pawn. You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, wow, this feels terrible.” Who knew that Rihanna was that kind of girl? However, I have to say to Drake that what goes around comes around.
