Rapper T.I. arrested for drug possession

Rapper T.I. is released from jail after he got arrested in Los Angeles for drug possession, police said on Thursday.
T.I. real name is Clifford Harris Jr. got arrested along with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle on Sunset Boulevard Wednesday night after police smelled marijuana coming from a car, T.I. wasn’t driving a car he was a passenger, Deputy Luis Castro of The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
T.I. was booked for possession of a controlled substance and was released from jail after posting bail of $10,000,

Justin Bieber Gets Revenge

If you happen to be one of Justin Bieber’s many followers on Twitter, you may have received a tweet last weekend from the teen pop sensation with a phone number. The singer’s message was simple – “everyone call me 248-xxx-xxxx or text.” Thousands grabbed their phones to dial only to find out that the number given out was not Justin’s at all. While most fans thought they played into a prank, the joke was actually on a Detroit teen named Kevin Kristopik. The tweet was actually revenge on Kevin for hacking into one of Justin’s friend’s Twitter to get the singer’s number back in July. Kevin sarcastically thanked Justin on his Twitter page, called him a dick, then deleted his account. Before he did, he posted a YouTube video showing his phone going crazy with Bieber fever. Who knew Justin could be so evil?

Bon Jovi: Stunning new photos published

Never-before-seen images of rock legends Bon Jovi cavorting in bed with naked models and meeting Michael Jackson have been published in a new book.

The revealing photos of the rockers, when they were young and just starting out in the music industry, have been released by the group’s original tour manager Rich Bozzett as part of his revealing memoir, Sex, Drugs And Bon Jovi.

Most startling for the clean-cut rockers are the early shots of them lying on a bed pretending to cavort with the topless models.

Bozzett, who travelled with the band in the 1980s as they rose to fame, said: “Jon [Bon Jovi] has never wanted to talk about the band’s early years, but now his fans can finally read – and see through never-before-released photographs – what life on the road was like.”

He added: “I lived with the band and saw it all – from the incredible fan support to how Jon and the band dealt with the drugs, alcohol and sex that were part of that world.”

The book charts the group’s path to success, from their first performances as an opening act in front of a few hundred people, to selling more than 130 million records and performing for more than 34 million fans worldwide.

U2’s European Tour Dates and New Concert Photos

U2 Announces European Tour Dates for 2010
In the midst of the North American leg of their 360° Tour, U2 has announced their fall 2010 European Tour dates. The 12-stop tour will hit Germany, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Austria, Greece, Turkey, France, Spain, and Portugal. Tickets for many of the shows went on sale as early as this week, with more presales scheduled for October 5th-7th. Visit U2.com for all the information.

Deborah Cox just welcomed a new addition to her family. The Canadian singer gave birth early Monday afternoon to daughter Kaila Michelle, her third child with husband and manager Lascelles Stephens. Taylor Swift still has the number one album in America this week. Taylor was the biggest selling artist of 2008 in the US and the country singing cutie is intent on global domination. She made London one of her targets last Wednesday night when she made her first appearance ever at the Brit Awards and looked quite lovely in her sparkly dress. Taylor has been in the UK for a few days doing promo and will be in Europe for a while longer before beginning her world tour in North America this spring. It’s hard work being as successful as Taylor is.

Beyonce filmed her latest music video with an actor on the beach this past Wednesday in Malibu, California. The 27-year old singer will reportedly perform with ‘High School Musical’ stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, ‘Mamma Mia’s’ Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper at this year’s Oscars. Host Hugh Jackman and Beyonce have been rehearsing at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York City for the number. I wonder if it’s a serious number or if there’s more of a comedy twist to it. I hope it’s more on the comedic side. It would just be another boring dance segment if not.

Donnie describes the concept of the piece as “somewhat based on a very literal translation of the song with a twist.”

Chris Cornell announces additional tour dates and bonus for fans

Chris Cornell has added ten more dates to his spring tour in support of his forthcoming album, Scream – produced by Timbaland and released by Mosley Music/Interscope on March 10. The 28-date tour now includes a Canadian stop in Vancouver in addition to U.S. cities such as Denver, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Tickets for the 10 newly announced shows go on sale to the public this Friday, February 27. All previously
announced shows are on sale now. Scream showcases a new, seductive sound – dark, multi-layered and full of puzzles and surprises. The songs bring a cinematic scope to Cornell’s performances with potent visual imagery echoing the non-stop musical assault from his internationally acclaimed live band. “Musically, this is the most ambitious thing I’ve been a part of. It’s almost like a movie soundtrack,” says Cornell, who will also be playing other music from his two-decade, 14 –album career.
