Lil Mama on her Label

If she’s not careful, she may be out of a contract soon. Lil Mama recently spoke to the press about why her record label sucks saying “My fan base is out of this world and the youth really look up to me and I know for a fact my album wasn’t promoted correctly because people would come up to me like, ‘Oh your album is out?’ Or, ‘This is the second one? It’s really disturbing to know that I signed with a company that didn’t promote my record properly. Highly disturbing.” Honey, the biggest thing I’ve heard from you is your remix of Avril’s song. And that’s not really a good thing to be associated with.

Diddy Puffs Again

The king of the name change is at it again as he is seemingly not yet satisfied with changing his name for the nth time. Sean John Combs doesn’t have a new name for us though. He has resorted to being old school – or maybe unoriginal is more like it. The man we more recently know as Diddy is bringing Puff Daddy back. On his MySpace page, the entertainment mogul wrote “This is your boy Puff Daddy!!! Yes Puffy Daddy, the King of the Remix is back with O’Neal Mcknight and Jermaine Dupri on the ‘Check Your Coat Remix’!!! Visit my myspace page to listen to it NOW.” On the song, he raps “They call me Puff Daddy…. he’s back. Yeah you heard me right. I said Puff Daddy. I’m about to back on that Puff Daddy shit.”

The Spice Girls Team Up With Some Angels

All you Spice Girls fanatics get ready because their much anticipated Greatest Hits album is almost here. The CD, which features 13 of their best selling hits along with 3 remix dance versions of old songs, just went on presale and will go on until midnight of Thursday October 18 only on the Victoria’s Secret website. I just wait for it, it should be awesome and I personally think that this Greatest Hits album has a chance to create a record of sorts when it goes on sale for the most number of copies order in an hour for a Greatest Hits album. Well on the other hand even if the album doesn’t create any records during the first day of sales I think the band has already created enough hoop hoola for their upcoming world tour that all these marketing gimmicks and heavy promotions are going to land them huge tickets sales and millions of dollars in revenues.
