The unorthodox partnership of Alison Krauss and Robert Plant has yielded astonishing results in the sense that we the duo did not expect to capture 4 Grammy Awards at the gala event held on Sunday February 8. The duo grabbed 4 Grammys for their haunting album ‘Raising Sand’ with awards such as Album of the Year and Record of the Year.
Robert Plant a former member of the band Led Zeppelin and Krauss, a bluegrass queen seemed a little out of the blue sort of thing but when the album produced by T Bone Burnett was released it received world-wide critical acclaim and that highlighted the enormous talent of the two versatile artists.
No wonder that’s the reason the Alison Krauss happens to be the most celebrated and successful artist in the history of the Grammy Awards, versatile is a word that a lot many other artist too can stake a claim to but she is a rare talent and such precious gems a one in a million.
I firmly believe that Krauss should experiment a lot more without fearing for success or failure.
