Leona Lewis’ ‘Bleeding Love’ continues to reign over the UK singles’ charts. The list was announced on Sunday and it marks the seventh week that Leona has been on top. The X-Factor winner’s debut CD ‘Spirit’ is also at the top spot of the albums’ chart and it’s been there for the last four weeks.
But ‘Bleeding Love’ is facing some stiff competition this holiday season. The rest of the singles chart, in order, is made up of T2 featuring Jodie Aysha with ‘Heartbroken’, Girls Aloud with ‘Call the Shots’, Timbaland with ‘Apologize’, Take That with ‘Rule the World’, Alicia Keys with ‘No One’, Mark Ronson featuring Amy Winehouse with ‘Valerie’, Mariah Carey with ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’, Shayne Ward with ‘Breathless’ and Soulja Boy with ‘Crank That (Soulja Boy)’.

He’s all grown up now, and he’s a little stressed out. After a Thursday night concert, Bow Wow was rushed to a local hospital. His label says he was suffering from “stress and exhaustion”. He’s been on tour with Chris Brown, Sean Kingston, and Soulja Boy.
The rest of the acts were headed to Chicago, but Bow Wow wasn’t planning to hit the stage with them Friday night. His rep says he’s making plans to come back to Chicago soon.

Chris Brown’s Kiss Kiss hit has claimed a third week at the top of the singles chart. The track held off competition from Alicia Keys’ No One, which jumped up a spot to number two on the new chart. I Like His Song Wall to Wall as well. What’s excited me is that I always love it when there are fresh new stars that top the charts rather than having the likes of Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent, Jay-Z and Kanye West dominate the charts. It argues well for the music industry to have new stars on the scene like Soulja Boy and Sean Kingston. Timbaland’s Apologize slides to three, while Soulja Boy’s Crank That (Soulja Boy) refuses to slip out of the top five - it holds steady at four. Three week’s at the top is like it has to be great music and people are buying the CDs a lot give the number the thrust to remain on top of the singles chart.
