Rihanna is reportedly dating someone new and it’s being said that it’s ‘90210’ actor Tristan Wilds. He was a very important guest at a party in the singer’s Los Angeles home that the Barbadian babe was throwing to say goodbye to her friends before heading off to London last week. An insider said “No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party — it was very intimate. But everyone quickly realized they weren’t meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see…He’s a real gentleman. She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up.”

Leona Lewis gave a fantastic performance at her first solo gig in London on Monday, for which she got a standing ovation for. The singer spoke to the audience to thank them for their support, saying “I just want to say thank you so much for coming to support me. The first time I ever performed here I was 13 so it seemed fitting for me to come back here.” The concept for her concert was amazing too! Leona appeared on stage in a black hooded cape with large images of herself projected on a see-through screen. Congratulations on the success of your solo show!

As we all know, Leona Lewis was attacked by an X Factor reject Peter Kowalczyk while at a London book signing of her autobiography, ‘Dreams’, earlier this month. The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer is now opening up about the terrible unprovoked attack, saying “It could have been worse. I’m still alive. It is just something you have to deal with when you have fame and the positives far outweigh the negatives. I don’t like to dwell on the negatives. I’m a very positive person.” And it probably helps that the guy is getting charged for attacking her. He clearly deserves whatever punishment will be given to him.

Just several yards away from where Michael Jackson was to have his epic ‘This Is It’ performances, the King of Pop will have his personal belongings on display at London’s O2 Bubble. The exhibit will feature some of the late singer’s most prized treasures for fans to enjoy. Among some of the items will be a letter from Ronald Reagan from 1984, wishing Michael a quick recovery after his hair was set on fire, an oil painting of the icon dressed as a king, his trademark jewelled gloves and a pair of shoes with part of the heel cut out used when Michael performed his hit ‘Smooth Criminal’.

Mel B’s husband Stephen Belafonte reportedly threw a strop in London when he was asked if he was related to the American singer Harry Belafonte.
Stephen, 34, and wife Mel, also 34, were out at Berry Light District in Soho London when someone approached him and asked if he was related to the 82-year-old musician.
According to London newspaper Evening Standard, he said: “We’re not related. You just think all mixed-race people look the same. It’s just ignorance to think that.”
Stephen married Mel in a ceremony in 2007 in Las Vegas and then later renewed their vows in Egypt.

‘This is It’, the documentary featuring footage of Michael Jackson’s rehearsals for what would have been his final performances in London, is doing extremely well in advance ticket sales. Tickets for the limited screening went up for grabs last Sunday and hundreds of showings immediately got sold out in North America via Fandango and MovieTickets. There has been a similar reaction all over the world in cities including London, Sydney, Bangkok and Tokyo. Sony acquired distribution rights for the film for $60 million and with tickets being as hot as they are, there’s going to be major profit from that. ‘This is It’ will be in theaters for only two weeks beginning October 28.

The 3-stop tour featuring Michael Jackson’s memorabilia was recently given the go signal by the court. Even though both the late singer’s brother Randy and his mother Katherine opposed the tour, a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge gave the ok, stating that there was “no question in [his] mind that this agreement is in the best interest of the estate.” The tour, which the King of Pop’s children are reportedly in favor of, is projected to earn $6 million. Michael’s exhibition will debut at the O2 Arena in London around the time of the upcoming ‘This is It’ concert film is released and will take up residency at the arena for 4 to 6 months before moving to other yet to be decided cities.

George Michael was arrested early Saturday morning in London on suspicion of DUI after the singer crashed his Land Rover into a seven-ton truck. The singer has been famously involved in a slew of drink and drug influenced driving offenses, most recently in 2007 when he was found slumped over his steering wheel with drugs in his system. Although the former member of Wham was released without charge, the driver of the big rig says that Michael seemed to be completely out of it after the accident occurred. Since his release, the singer released a statement saying that he was completely sober at the time of the accident.

According to one member of the Pussycat Dolls, their gig as a band is already up. Ashley Roberts broke down in front of fans recently as she tearfully fled from her London hotel. The singer was quoted as telling the people outside the hotel “This is the last time we’ll be in the UK as a band. We’ve broken up. We’re sorry.” There have been rumors going around for a while now that the group will be seeing their end soon due to their fighting. However, the group’s spokesperson adamantly refuted the breakup and was quoted saying “The girls are still together.”

It’s time for Amy Winehouse to get her butt in gear and seriously start working again. After a marathon extended vacation in St. Lucia, the singer has returned to England and a recording studio that was built for Wino in the Caribbean island is said to be getting shipped to London so she can maybe finally get back to work on that album – maybe. If I know Wino, she’s going to come up with whatever excuse just so she can get out of having to work. Unless of course she needs money and figures out that she needs to work to get some.

A UK memorial for Michael Jackson is rumoured to be in the works.
The memorial event is set to be held in London on August 29, on what would have been the Thriller singer’s 51st birthday.
Kenney Ortega, director of Jackson’s planned This Is It UK concert tour, has met family members and other organisers to discuss the event, although there is no word yet on which stars would take part or pay tribute.
US reports claim the concert will take place at the O2 Arena where Jackos’ 50 date tour had been booked.
The news comes just hours after the late pop star’s family, friends and fans gathered for a three hour public memorial at the Staples Centre in downtown Los Angeles.

Photographer Kevin Mazer took some of the last pictures of Michael Jackson and said the star was on top form as he prepared for the O2 shows.
Michael died suddenly in LA on June 25 after he reportedly suffered a heart attack.
Kevin took some pictures of Michael rehearsing for the shows and said he was looking forward to the London gigs.
Kevin said: “I watched in awe. From what I saw, Michael was back - and in real style. He was amazing, happy and energetic. He performed virtually non-stop for two hours and ran through about a dozen greatest hits.
“He stopped just a couple of times to tweak arrangements and work on moves with dancers. Every track he sang sounded terrific. I honestly could not wait to see the show.”
Kevin said Michael seemed excited about returning to the stage for his London shows.
He said: “He loved going through all the props and was excited about performing Thriller with these zombie puppets. I’m very sad people won’t be able to see it.”
He added: “He was the same old Michael. At one point, he got on a cherry-picker crane and was hoisted over the audience - it was an amazing sight.”

The Britain’s Got Talent runner up spent a total of five days in the center being treated for exhaustion and anxiety after the show’s disappointing finale. The YouTube sensation’s brother said of his sister’s well-being “She’s much happier. She seems a lot more like herself. Things are becoming clearer for her now. She’s now beginning to believe that, ‘Yes, indeed, I will be a singer.” I wish her the best of luck with her career. I believe in her and I’m sure that a lot of people do too!

Michael Jackson has a lot of problems to deal with and it seems that his weight has become another issue. The stick thin musician is looking skinnier everyday. Reports are even saying that Jacko is 20lbs underweight and needs to pack on the pounds before he starts his upcoming 50 shows in London which will begin on July 8th and go through February 24th. One source said “There are concerns Michael is too frail. He has been ordered to eat more but he refuses to and eats like a bird.” However, promoters from AEG claim that the 50-year old singer is fit and in perfect condition to do the shows.

Madonna was given permission to perform a concert on Palace Square this August in Russia. The Queen of Pop will be touring on her ‘Sticky & Sweet’ tour which starts back up on July 4 in London. A promoter said that “Hermitage Director Mikhail Piotrovsky signed the documentation allowing the concert by Madonna on Dvortsovaya Ploshchad (Palace Square). All requirements for holding concerts on Dvortsovaya Ploshchad have been met.” However, the Director has also asked that Madonna guarantee that her concert would not have any swearing or blasphemy and even expressed doubts that the Palace Square is the best spot for the concert. Local authorities are outraged at the idea and have dubbed the event a “natural disaster”.

Britney Spears will be staying at the Dorchester Hotel for the London leg of her tour this summer. Not surprisingly, the recovered pop star has a few odd requests. Among her requests are a room that has never been smoked in, several humidifiers, a few magazines, fresh flowers to arrange to her pleasing, DVDs of her favorite Marilyn Monroe films, chick literature, 100 watt light bulbs, a map of running routs for Hyde Park as well as some horse-back riding opportunities and a list of different routes from the hotel to the venue to evade paparazzi. As long as father Jamie Spears approves, what Britney wants, Britney gets.
